1. Butlins Lakeside Caravan Park

   If you are contemplating taking your next holiday on the west coast, then Butlins Minehead Caravan Park could be just what you are looking for. Located in the pretty coastal resort of Minehead Somerset, the Lakeside caravan park is on the edge of the Exmoor National Park and within easy walking distance of the Beach and Town.

   The Caravan Park with around 250 privately owned static caravans is set adjacent to the large fishing lake (free fishing included if you hire a caravan). In its own designated area the caravans are far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of the main resort, yet close enough to enjoy the huge array of facilities Butlins has to offer, making it a great place to retreat too after a fun filled day at Butlins.

   The caravans are thoughtfully arranged in “coves” with ample space between each plot, and a large grassy area in front of the caravans lending itself to a greater degree of privacy than you would find in the apartments. The added bonus of allocated parking at the front of the cove means that your car is also at hand should you decide to venture off camp and explore the Minehead area, also no lugging those heavy suitcases from the main car park!

   So to sum it up if you book a privately owned static caravan you get all the following extra’s included

   • FREE access to the Butlins facilities, entertainment, funfair, swimming etc. jut the same as it you booked an apartment or room
   • Space to relax and enjoy your break, away from the main resort (but remember it’s still only a short walk away)
   • Allocated parking, you can see your car from the caravan, and no lugging suitcases from the main car park.
   • Get to choose the caravan you would like to stay in, view photos of the interior.
   • Save money – compared to booking direct with Butlins.

2. Splash Waterworld

   Skegness’s costly £13 million redevelopment leave a stream of guests drenched with excitement and ready for a ‘splashing time’.

   3 years of constant hard work and dedication has finally paid off for Butlins. The new Splash Water World has left many families streaming with excitement and raring to experience this newly added feature on the Butlin’s entertainment list, which is unbelievably all included in the price. This extension was built solely for your delight, guaranteeing that there is something to excite everyone.

   The development is 50% bigger than the previous Splash Water World; the pool is three dimensional with cargo nets in the ceilings, allowing you to walk high above the pools. Splash Water World has always been a popular facility; even the existing pool features were great at the time. The Best architects and the finest interior designers have come together to create the new Splash, adding seaside elements to the pool areas, making everything ‘bigger’, ‘’better’ and with you in mind.

   Butlin’s Splash Water World has been littered with choices, with deliberately different rides and features. The sheer scale development offers you; Four main pool areas to choose from with four new and improved rides, these being the Beach wave pool, the rapids, the whirl pool and the new children’s pool, this special shallow area has been created with the little ones in mind. Excitable activities ranging from a Family raft ride. An adrenaline ride down flumes which is the fasted ride in splash, with 15-20 seconds of sheer speed.  A new DJ box feature has been added to change the environment, aimed especially at the older children and teens. Without a doubt this space was designed for playing. With a Subtropical temperature which is always the same! Moreover, the stimulating Space bowl ride which leaves you completely disorientated as you venture further downwards, you will want to go through it again and again! This area has been built with your safety in mind with qualified lifeguards.

3. New Just for Tots Breaks at Butlins

   Just For Tots

   This year, Butlins are introducing a new short break that’s just for Tots and Toddlers, 4 days designed especially for little ones, perfect for families with children under 5.

   With ‘drop-in’ style activity sessions and repeated entertainment schedules designed to be flexible, so they’ll fit in with your little one’s routine, you’ll be free to do as much or as little as you like. You will receive a “What’s on guide” so you can pick and choose what to do when, and it’s all part of the price.

   Showtime – where their favourite characters come to life in live stage shows throughout the break including; Thomas & Friends, Angelina Ballerina, Mike the Knight, Bob the Builder, Barney, Fireman Sam & Scooby Doo. Plus family favourites Storybook Panto, Puppet Castle & Bedtime Stories.

   Cuddles with their heroes - They’ll be star-struck when photographed with their TV heroes - including Thomas & Friends, Mike The Knight, Angelina Ballerina, Bob the Builder, Barney, Fireman Sam, Pingu and of course Butlin’s very own Billy & Bonnie Bear.

   Active Adventures - With all the energy that they'll need to burn off there's plenty to keep them active both indoors and outside in the fresh air including Splash Waterworld, Tots Fairground Rides, Tots Disco, Tots Soccer, Indoor Soft Play Area, Outdoor Playgrounds & seaside fun on the beach
